CitraNatal® B-Calm is a prescription prenatal vitamin with increased levels of vitamin B6 which may help aid a woman's body's own natural defenses against the symptoms of severe nausea and vomiting.1

Vitamin B6 is also recommended as a first-line supplementation for pregnancy-related nausea and vomiting by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG).2

CitraNatal B-Calm also contains gentle ingredients for mom and strong nutrition for baby:

  • Calcium citrate — avoids gas and bloating common to calcium supplements3
  • Carbonyl iron — gentle absorption for greater safety and tolerability
  • 1 mg of folic acid

Be sure to speak with your doctor to determine if CitraNatal B-Calm is right for you and before starting any prescription prenatal vitamin regimen.

For use in conjunction with a physician-recommended regimen to minimize pregnancy-related nausea.

Important Safety Information

WARNING: Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under 6. KEEP THIS PRODUCT OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN. In case of accidental overdose, call a doctor or poison control center immediately.

Warnings

Ingestion of more than 3 grams of omega-3 fatty acids per day has been shown to have potential antithrombotic effects, including an increased bleeding time and INR. Administration of omega-3 fatty acids should be avoided in patients on anticoagulants and in those known to have an inherited or acquired bleeding diathesis.

Folic acid alone is improper therapy in the treatment of pernicious anemia and other megaloblastic anemias where vitamin B12 is deficient.

Precautions

Folic acid in doses above 0.1 mg daily may obscure pernicious anemia in that hematologic remission can occur while neurological manifestations progress.
